Another point of interest is the circular dome and drum of the Radcliffe Camera which is one of Oxfords most inspiring landmarks, build in the eighteenth century as a library, it is now part of the Bodleian library. The Sheldon Theatre built in 1667 and built by Sir Christopher Wren who at the time was a Professor at Oxford university and the purpose of the design was to mimic a Roman Theatre.
